Having had a kindle for some time, I figured it was time to invest in a cover.
So, yesterday I googled and found a great pattern to follow for just this project. So I head to my local fabric store get all the required materials and set off this afternoon on making a great cover. I laid everything out in my living room. I measure, cut, iron, and sew.. what do you think happened? It doesn't fit!
So, having just enough material for 1 more shot, cause I plan for such dilemmas, I give it another go. I measure, cut (bigger this time) iron, sew... and again it does not fit! so after 5 hours of sewing I have a great idea and a great "just because" present for a beloved sister... who has a smaller Kindle which the second will fit!
So, tomorrow I will head back to my craft store, get more fabric and try again. I am set on making the best Kindle cover if it kills me!
